Success at Meetings & Events NSW Awards

UPDATE 7 March: Arinex’ Brisbane-based Senior Project Manager Ashleigh Duggan has continued the winning streak by winning the QLD MEA Future Leader Award on Wednesday 6 March! We wish Ash and the rest of the winners all the best at the MEA National Awards in April.

Arinex was thrilled to be successful across four categories at last night’s NSW Meetings & Events Australia (MEA) Awards, winning Professional Conference Organisation of the Year; Association Event of the Year (19th International Microscopy Congress, or IMC19); Event Manager of the Year (Melissa Murphy) and the Ungerboeck Young Professional Scholarship (Rhiannon Cremasco).

Roslyn McLeod, Arinex Founder/Chair, said the team were delighted with the results and thanked all industry colleagues for their ongoing support.

“It is fantastic to see the hard work of our team, clients and suppliers and industry colleagues recognised with these awards,” she said. “We had a strong relationship with the Organising Committee of IMC19 and the collaborative-driven approach underpinned the success of the Conference.

“Melissa Murphy did a fantastic job as Project Manager of IMC19 and it is fitting that she is also recognised with her award for that along with the rest of her endeavours over the past 12 months. Rhiannon is certainly a deserving recipient of the Young Professional Scholarship and has an exciting future ahead of her.

“We’re overjoyed and congratulate all other finalists and winners from last night and thank our suppliers and industry colleagues who contribute so strongly to events of excellence.”
