Background:
Jaw-dropping experiences that would leave guests with lasting memories was the brief for a group of 47 guests.
Challenges:
With previous programs in far-flung places such as Iceland and Russia, the well-travelled guests would be anticipating a highly customised program that combined New Zealand’s natural beauty with high-end luxury.
Solutions:
Local suppliers were engaged in a collaborative manner, to coordinate unique and unforgettable moments, including;
- A daily newsletter and gift drop to guests each evening, themed to provide a teaser for the following day’s activities
- Welcome Dinner at War Museum at Auckland, including kapa haka Māori song and dance performance to welcome and immerse the group into New Zealand’s unique culture from the outset
- A super yacht sail to Waiheke Island and an all-inclusive New Zealand culinary tasting tour encompassing olive oil, gin, wine, whisky and beer
- Exclusive lunch at Millhouse, the authentically themed venue, on the Shire at Hobbiton, following a full tour of the movie set
- A customised All Blacks Experience, discovering grass roots rugby and what makes a player in the sport of the nation, along with personalised jerseys waiting in locker room for the group to wear
- Kicking off the Queenstown leg, the adrenalin capital of the world, with a jet boat transfer from the airport, followed by a lunch location with arguably one of the best views in New Zealand.
- 11 private helicopters sourced to charter the group from Queenstown to a cruise of the Milford Sound, followed by a surprise mountain-top champagne atop Mount Creighton
