Arinex appointed to deliver landmark global gender equality conference, Women Deliver 2026

Arinex, Australasia’s leading Professional Conference Organiser, has been appointed to manage the highly anticipated Women Deliver 2026, one of the world’s largest and most influential conferences on gender equality and the health, rights, and wellbeing of women and girls.

The successful bid to host Women Deliver 2026 in Melbourne was spearheaded by the Melbourne Convention Bureau (MCB), in collaboration with the Victorian State Government Department of Families, Fairness and Housing, with support from the Federal Government, Tourism Australia's Business Events Bid Fund Program and Oceanic Pacific stakeholders. Arinex will play a crucial role in bringing this landmark event to life, managing all logistical and operational aspects to ensure a seamless and impactful experience for the expected 6,500 delegates from over 170 countries.

Women Deliver 2026 will provide a vital civic space for critical dialogue, knowledge sharing, and networking, uniting leaders, advocates, and organisations committed to advancing gender justice and reproductive health. The conference is renowned for fostering unity, energy, and bold ideas to address critical global challenges.

Maree Di Pasquale, Group CEO of Arinex, expressed her enthusiasm for the appointment: “Arinex is incredibly honoured to be entrusted with the conference organisation of Women Deliver 2026. This is a truly significant event, and we are deeply committed to working alongside Women Deliver and all stakeholders to deliver a world-class conference that amplifies the crucial conversations around gender equality and the empowerment of women and girls. At Arinex we are passionate about creating experiences that empower people, and this appointment reflects our shared committed to equity and impact.”

Melbourne Convention Bureau CEO Julia Swanson said: “We’re delighted to host Women Deliver 2026 in Melbourne on behalf of the Oceania Pacific region. Events like this create a critical platform for dialogue, knowledge sharing, and networking, empowering participants to drive transformative change and advance gender equality worldwide."

Women Deliver’s Senior Advisor, Convenings Samson Tesfaye said: “We are thrilled to work with our partners in the Oceanic Pacific to bring one of the most influential spaces for gender equality to the region. We look forward to collaborating with and learning from gender equality advocates – including feminist activists, First Nations leaders, and more, to advance the health and rights of adolescent girls and women not only in the Oceanic Pacific but around the world.”

Arinex brings 52-years of experience in managing large-scale international conferences, with a strong track record of delivering successful and impactful events across various sectors. The appointment underscores Arinex and Melbourne's capability to host complex and globally significant gatherings.
