WESTERN AUSTRALIA
National and International Events
Business Events Perth has a range of funding opportunities to secure national and international events throughout the state.
Business Event Funding: Funding to help secure and market business events is available via a business event funding application.
Keynote Speaker Incentive: Up to $25,000 is available to help secure extraordinary keynote speakers for events held anywhere in Australia in 2022 or 2023. In return, Business Events Perth asks successful applicants to book a future national or international event in Western Australia within six months of the event for which speaker funding was received.
Regional Events Scheme (RES): The RES offers funding of between $5,000 and $40,000 for smaller and developing events across Western Australia. There is also a total $150,000 of funding available through the Regional Aboriginal Events Scheme (RAES). To apply for RAES, your event must deliver Aboriginal activities and experiences through the leadership and participation of Aboriginal people. The next round of applications opens 23 August 2022 and closes 18 October 2022 for events to be held in the 2023/24 financial year.
