Dietitians Association of Australia and Arinex celebrate a 10-year partnership

The 32nd Dietitians Association of Australia National Conference (DAA) was held at the Crown Convention Centre, Perth from 13 – 16 May 2015. The Conference was declared a huge success by delegates, exhibitors, sponsors and the organising committee as well as the host association.

This Conference celebrated a 10-year landmark of Arinex partnering with DAA to manage their annual conference.  2016 will see DAA celebrating its 40th year and the Conference will be a fantastic opportunity for Arinex to contribute to the celebrations!

The Arinex team has enjoyed working with DAA to grow their conference and bring fresh and innovative ideas each year.  A first for 2015 was opening with networking drinks and plenary/welcome to country in the evening, a change that was well-received by all participants and which accommodated airline timetables into Perth. It was also a first for the upgraded version of eMobilise, Arinex’ very own smart phone app specifically designed for conferences.  Delegates were impressed by the user friendliness of the app, especially the ease of navigation and fresh look.

Once again the 2015 Conference exceeded expectations with 641 delegates, 8 concurrent sessions, 10 workshops, over 120 speakers, 140 posters and a sell-out exhibition of 43 booths.

DAA were delighted with the outcome. “Can I please say a big thank you to you both, and reiterate again that without your help, this conference would not have come off as the success it has been. You are both wonderful and so dedicated.”
Carolyn Jamieson, Operations Support Officer, DAA.

“Can I quickly take this opportunity to say thank you to you (and DAA) and Mel (and Arinex) for all the work on the conference. It was such a pleasure working with you all.  I’m aware of how difficult it *can* be to organise conferences and how much potential there is for things to turn bad quite rapidly.  Never did I feel there was any risk of this, in fact quite the contrary.  I’m also acutely aware that it requires hard work for things to appear effortless. So, thank you all again.”
Steve Pratt – DAA 2015 Scientific and Social Program Committee Chair

“Thanks again for all your wonderful organizing skills at the conference. I had a terrific time and I learned a lot as well.”
Marlene Zuk, Keynote Speaker from the USA

“Overall, I thought it was a great conference, well organised and set in a good venue. The conference was excellent, everyone was extremely friendly and all the organising committee members that I came in contact with were very helpful.”
