As part of Arinex’ ongoing commitment to sustainability, we recently partnered with NatureBoss, a provider of eco-friendly corporate tours and experiences, for the Ottawa 2024 Conference on the Assessment of Competence in Medicine and the Healthcare Professions.

The conference, which took place over five days in February at the Melbourne Convention and Exhibition Centre, drew over 1,100 delegates from around the globe, surpassing initial targets. Recognising the Local Organising Group’s interest in sustainable practice, Arinex collaborated with NatureBoss to offer delegates a range of pre and post-conference touring options that showcased the natural wonders of Melbourne and its surrounds, while minimising environmental impact.

“Our partnership with NatureBoss allowed us to enhance the conference experience for delegates in a way that aligned with our shared sustainability values,” said Arinex CEO Nicole Walker.

“We were thrilled to see the strong interest of the NatureBoss offering and the positive feedback post event. Delegates could pre-arrange a tour prior to the conference or speak with NatureBoss representatives onsite at the event to learn more about the experiences available.”

The Penguin Parade and Wildlife Tour, along with the Great Ocean Road Tour, stood out as the most sought-after adventures with Nature Boss. Beyond just providing memorable activities, NatureBoss plants one tree for every tour booked and offers an instant one tonne of carbon offset for every ten attendees through Carbon Positive Australia.

The NatureBoss partnership builds on Arinex’ own sustainability initiatives as the first event management company in Australasia to achieve carbon neutral certification through Climate Active.
